The Law Of Attraction

The Law Of Attraction!
Have you ever heard of it?
Have you ever used it?

In this sweet and short video I give you the gist of what it’s all about and how I’ve used it in my life.
We chat about my brother Yoni (Jonah) and his really interesting YouTube channel “Hebrew Nazarite” as well as a few other stories
from my past that connect me to “The Secret” (DVD in my case) and the Law Of Attraction.

I really hope you enjoy the vid.
Please feel free to Like, Subscribe and even use my Amazon links to buy shit and get some money in my pockets during this AMAZING Corona outbreak (I make some commission off of it πŸ˜‹)

On that note, because Texas became such a hot bed for COVID-19 in the last week or so, we had our private event (Smash Mouth gig) canceled…bummer 😷

Anyway, enjoy…spread the word…and I’ll see you on the road πŸ™‚

How To Stay Motivated During Lock-Down

If you follow me on social media, you know I’m CONSTANTLY creating music, coming up with ideas for YouTube and a million other things.

Many times, I get asked “How do you stay so motivated?”
So, I just made a video about it to explain my process.
It was a fun video to make and I hope you get some motivation from it πŸ™‚

Side note…we just passed the 500 Subs mark (woohoo!!!) and became official Amazon Affiliates.
So, if you’re ever wondering how to support me in a way where you don’t have to donate money directly, this is it πŸ™‚

When you click on any of the links in the description (of the video on youtube), even if you don’t buy THAT piece, but you continue on and buy something else,
something you were going to buy anyway…I get commission from Amazon.
Super simple!
So, go support your local musician (that’s me) by clicking on his links πŸ˜‰

Well..that’s it for now.
Really hoping we start performing again soon. I need some live music in my life πŸ™‚

Have a great day y’all.

Band Agreements 101

Annnnnd…we’re back!
Last week I took a break out of respect for the #BlackLivesMatter message and the protests.
I asked my followers and viewers to take a moment and instead of watching a new video by me, educate themselves, as I was trying to do,
in the matters brought up by the death of George Floyd (RIP).

But now, we’re back in business! Helping the next generation of musicians make the right choices so they can be…my competition haha.

In this is video I finally talk, in depth, about Band Agreements.
I even share this example with you from my past.
It’s a free PDF of my band agreement from back in the day with an awesome artists called “Shane” (not me).
Me and a few other amazing writers co-wrote 17 songs for Shane’s album, got management, signed the deal…
and then ended up nowhere…unfortunately.

But as I mentioned in the video, that…the eventual breaking up of that band/project was also discussed in the agreement, as you can see if you go through it.
But, I’m warning you…it’s LONG!
The contract, not the video πŸ™‚
Yours doesn’t have to be that long.

Oh…also…amazing bloopers!!!! haha

Anyway, I hope you learn some good stuff from this one.
If you wanna support and want some good knowledge as soon as it comes out Like the vid and Subscribe to the channel.
Please comment on the video and let me know how I can help you become a better artist and musician.

We’ve got a private Smash Mouth event next month (7/2020).
I can’t wait to see everyone and play live again!!!!!

Catchya on the road soon.

Submithub.com YouTube Review

Let me be clear, I am NOT sponsored in ANY way by Submithub.com.

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, what you’ll see in this video is my honest review of a product I sincerely think to be a HUGE asset
to artists world wide.

Submithub is a service through which you can submit your music to all these different curators around the world and the internet.
* Think Spotify Playlists with hundreds of thousands of listeners.
* Think YouTube channels with 28 million subscribers.
* Even music bloggers, radio stations (probably indie) and even labels!
But, it is so much more than just that.

I take you through my whole process of submitting, getting denied (with feedback) , getting approved and everything that goes with it!

I will be having a Live Instagram Stream with Jason Grishkoff (Founder of Submithub.com) for all your Q&A needs on 4.18.20 on my Instagram.
Those attending will get a passcode for FREE credits!!!

So, please enjoy the vid.
Like the vid and Subscribe to the channel if you wanna support and want some good knowledge as soon as it comes out.
As with my other videos, if you actually go to the YouTube Page of this video, there’s a breakdown of it with a timeline/subject list.

I hope to see you on Saturday, April 18th 2020 at 10am (PST) for our live instagram stream, and until I see you on the road….
Stay safe and healthy πŸ™‚

How To Get Endorsements!

What’s up my locked in friends? πŸ™‚
I hope you’re all healthy and using this time to catch up on the important things, like Tiger King πŸ˜›

So, in this video, I give you a quick and useful breakdown on how to get endorsements.
Everything you need to know about who to ask for them, what they might want in return and how much gear to ask for.

Let me just give a quick shoutout to Randy Fuchs from Artist Relations.
He got me my first official endorsement with Digitech since I was using their Whammy IV at the time!

Oh…the memories πŸ™‚

I recently worked with Randy again on connecting me with OWC & IK Multimedia to beef up my computers in the studio and on the road πŸ™‚

Anyway, enjoy the video, stay home, stay safe.

What Being a Full Time Musician REALLY Looks Like

What’s up guys? πŸ™‚
I hope everyone is healthy and being safe. This virus has taken too many lives already, let’s not let it take any more!

Onto a different, more positive topic. As you can see up there, my second video is up and running. Thanks to my friend Orlin Nikolov for the awesome shot on the Enrique Iglesias C Stage in Sofia, Bulgaria.

This one is a little bit of a mind opener into my life and what it takes to be one of the, as my friend Nomad likes to say, “Career Musicians“.
Sure, we have a blast and get to experience a lot of very cool stuff, but there’s a lot more to it.
This is a short video that I hope you’ll enjoy πŸ™‚

If you have any questions or comments, please go ahead and let me know on the video page, in the comments section preferably πŸ™‚
And of course, I’d love to have you Like the vid and Subscribe to the channel if it suits you.
It definitely helps me πŸ™‚

As with my other videos, if you actually go to the YouTube Page of this video, there’s a breakdown of it with a timeline/subject list.

Stay safe

Your friend

P.S.
In case you missed it. I made a little tutorial for a “Smash Mouth” guitar solo. Check it out πŸ™‚

“Ambient Dreams” Album Release

I’ve never been much of an artist in the sense that I want everyone listening to my music. I quite enjoy playing other peoples music.
But, more and more people have been asking to hear my music over the years.
I’ve always told them the same thing…”There really isn’t a place to hear it, it’s just for TV and Film licensing opportunities”.

Between them asking and my wife Tricia constantly telling me people would really enjoy it, I figured, why not πŸ˜›

Years ago I sold all my songs. Since then (2017), I’ve made, to date 326 new instrumental songs (called cues in TV World). That’s what I do when I’m not on the road hanging with you awesome human beings πŸ™‚
Well, I’ve decided that I will slowly release these tracks on the different media/music forums.
So from now on, you will slowly be able to get a taste of what I do.
Ambient, Rock, EDM, Urban (Hip Hop/Trap), Folk Acoustic and on and on and on.

My albums will be on SpotifyApple MusiciTunes, TikTok/Resso, Google Play/YouTube, Amazon, Pandora, Deezer, Tidal, Napster, iHeartRadio, ClaroMusica, Saavn, Anghami, KKBox, MediaNet, Instagram/Facebook, Shazam.
Sometimes it takes longer to get them on some of these, so, just be on the lookout if you use a specific forum and I’m not on there yet πŸ˜‰

This specific album is one I really enjoyed creating. It’s all about vibe, relaxing beats and fun vocal samples I played around with.
Oh, I forgot to mention. If you feel inspired by anything and want to create to it…go right ahead. I’d be happy to collaborate if it feels right (contact@seanhurwitz.com).
Or if you just wanna jam on it and send it to my Insta, I’d love to hear it!
I sincerely hope if you like what you hear that you recommend it to friends, post about it and maybe even comment on the forums that allow you to do so.

Anyway, what it all comes down to is…enjoy the music πŸ™‚
And…stay healthy πŸ˜‰

See ya out on the road
