Texans vrs. Redskins Game!!!

Two weekend ago, as many of you know, we got to play the half time show for the Texans/Redskins game at NRG Stadium
in Houston, TX.
What you probably DON’T know is that it was my first time EVER at a Football game…but let’s keep that under wraps 😉

It was a crazy experience and I’m glad it all went well. Can’t wait to get the video feed and share it with everyone!
They were all VERY nice and as a result of us playing the show, they won the game 🙂 Haha…Go Texans!

Now we’re off to Denver for a gig and then I get to spend all of Sunday in the studio
with one of my favorite producers at the moment, Bradley Kohn.

Successful tour and back to business!

What is going ON everyone? 🙂

Well, it’s been a bit since I posted anything on my website, my bad…but let’s fix that now!
As many of you know (since you were there), we had a great summer tour with Sugar Ray, Blues Traveler & Uncle Kracker.

We’ve been keeping busy on the road every week since we got off the tour and we’re looking forward to a busy fall as well.

'Red Rocks' UTS show review and pics

On July 4th of 2014, I had the pleasure of playing “Red Rocks” to a sold out  crowd with my boys
from Smash Mouth!
We were there on tour (#UnderTheSunTour2014) with the amazing Blues Traveler, Sugar Ray & Uncle Kracker.

My friend Candace Horgan got some awesome shots of the bands and wrote this great review.

Joining the "Reunion Blues" family

I was recently turned on to this great company by my friend Hanan Rubinstein (Ellie Goulding, Alicia Keys, Keyshia Cole…).
Then, I also found out that my boy Marcelo Feldman was a sponsored artist with them!!!
So after speaking with Michelle from “Reunion Blues” and checking out the cases, I was SOLD!

MI Audio – New sounds for 'Under The Sun 2014'

For year now, one of my main tones in my live rig has been an MI Audio ‘Crunch Box’.
It’s the closest I could get  to my Bogner Shiva dirty channel, with a pedal.
When I couldn’t use my Shiva (Fly dates etc.) I would use this pedal, and I was always blown away 🙂
Recently, my good friend Phil Traina, also known as ‘The Gear Concierge’, introduced me to Dave at MI Audio
and from there on Dave and I talked about gear, gear and more gear.
I told him I was looking for some new tones for my Summer tour and he was all about it!
So now, I’m happy to say that the sounds you’ll be hearing me play this summer on the Smash Mouth show, will be MI Audio.
I can’t wait to get out there and BLAST some stages, with our sound guys’ approval of course 😉

Eastman Acoustics – On board!

Yes!
As some of you have seen before on my instagram, I was rockin’ an Eastman AC522CE a few weeks ago.
I discovered them this year at NAMM and was blown away by some of their work.
I recently went to the factory in Pomona where they set up a few guitars for me to try out from the models I selected.
I’d like to thank Tim Nelson, Ari Baron & Mark Herring of “Eastman Guitars” for helping me find these beauties (AC522CE, E10SS & an EU3-T Uke) and taking me under their wing.
I’m looking forward to many years of working with them and their incredible instruments (They also make Banjos, Mandolins and more).
